Mary Rose Bowl #55
Just a simple deep round bowl turned on a foot powered pole lathe from Beech. This bowl has a traditional Mary Rose rim where it slopes in from the outside an inside. Bowls were made this way to allow for eating a meal OR drinking your beer.
For all it's simplicity this is probably my favourite shape! I've kept it's brother of the same shape and size to eat my puddings and breakfast cerial. Love it.
Finished with linseed oil. Approx 17cm daimeter (outside dimentions), 7cm tall.
